Heating Solutions
Graphene far-infrared heating for floors, walls and whole buildings — silent, dust-free, and dramatically more efficient than conventional systems.
Conventional heating works by warming air, which rises to the ceiling, escapes through every gap, and leaves the floor cold. Rayhope's graphene systems work differently: they emit far-infrared radiation that warms surfaces, objects and people directly. The result is even warmth at a lower air temperature, no moving air, no noise, and no circulating dust.
The Four System Types
Underfloor Heating Film
Thin graphene electric heating film laid beneath the floor finish. Works under laminate, engineered wood, tile and stone. Zone-controlled, invisible once installed, and the most even heat distribution of any system we make.
Wall Heating Panels
Wall-mounted radiant panels in a slim white finish or natural Canadian Hemlock wood. No fans, no visible grilles. Suitable for retrofit where floor build-up height is unavailable.
Integrated Wall Systems
Heating built into the wall surface itself, combining structural wall covering with the heating element. Designed for new builds and full renovations.
Decorative Heating
Heated scroll paintings and decorative panels that function as artwork and heater at once — for hotel lobbies, studies, and interiors where a visible radiator would be unwelcome.
System Architecture
A Rayhope floor heating installation is built in layers, from the substrate up:
| Location | Layer | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Top | Floor Finish Layer | Surface comfort |
| Above heating | Mortar Backfill Layer | Protection & conduction |
| Above heating | Protective Mesh Layer | Mechanical protection |
| Core | Graphene Heating Film | Core heating element |
| Below heating | XPS Insulation Layer | Heat insulation |
| Bottom | Base Layer | Stable foundation |
| Controller | Thermostat | Zone control, scheduling and remote operation |
Why Far-Infrared
Rayhope’s electric heating systems are designed to provide radiant warmth for indoor spaces.
Silent
No fans, no pumps, no expansion noise. Genuinely inaudible in operation.
Dust-free
No forced air means no circulating dust — a meaningful difference for allergy and asthma sufferers.
Zoned and scheduled
Intelligent thermostats control each room independently, so you heat only what you're using.
Low maintenance
No boiler, no water, no annual service. Nothing to bleed, drain or pressurise.
Energy and Carbon
The efficiency case is the strongest argument for graphene heating at scale.
CO₂ avoided per year for every 1 million m² of graphene heating film installed
Estimated annual energy saving per square metre versus conventional heating
Share of China's total annual carbon emissions that could be avoided if 20% of its building stock converted
Figures are drawn from Rayhope Group technical estimates and vary with building fabric, climate and usage patterns. We can model expected consumption for a specific project on request.
Where It's Installed
- Residential — new builds, renovations, and retrofit into existing homes
- Coal-to-electricity conversion projects — replacing coal-fired heating at municipal scale
- Public buildings — including schools and government offices
- Healthcare and care facilities — Boao Super Hospital and the Yiling Life Care Center
- Off-grid and renewable pairings — photovoltaic-plus-heating installations in Qinghai
- Specialist vehicles — police, fire and emergency response, and medical vehicles
Specifying a System
Every installation is different. We work from your drawings and requirements to specify element layout, wattage per zone, insulation build-up, and control strategy — whether that's a single room or a development.
