Where Rayhope graphene coatings are already installed — government buildings, universities, hospitals, art centres and residential developments across China.
The projects below are completed installations of Rayhope's graphene wall covering and functional coatings. Several include independent third-party indoor air quality testing, carried out before and after application under China's national standard GB/T 18883-2002.
Independently Verified Results
The clearest evidence for our formaldehyde-decomposing coatings comes from third-party testing at live sites rather than laboratory conditions. Schools are the most demanding case of all: young occupants, long hours, and enclosed dormitory rooms.
Peking University Academy, Luoyang
Rayhope graphene interior wall coating was applied to model rooms in the boys' dormitory block at the Academy's Luoyang International School campus.
Rather than take the supplier's word, the school commissioned an independent testing centre. Indoor air was measured before application, four hours after application, and again on the third day with doors and windows kept closed — the most demanding condition of the three, since sealing the room prevents any dilution by ventilation.
Formaldehyde fell from 0.99 mg/m³ to 0.10 mg/m³ across five days, a reduction of roughly 90% and a result that meets the national limit even with the windows shut.
| Stage | Formaldehyde concentration |
|---|---|
| Before application | 0.99 mg/m³ |
| 4 hours after application | 0.20 mg/m³ |
| 3 days after, doors and windows sealed | 0.10 mg/m³ |

The three inspection reports issued for Peking University Academy, Luoyang, 16–20 June 2018. Testing was carried out under GB/T 18883-2002 and covered six parameters — formaldehyde, benzene, TVOC, toluene, xylene and ammonia. Each report carries witness signatures from site supervision and project management staff.
Information Industry Building 信息产业大厦
The commercial tower coated as part of the Xingyang Liuzhuang project. Rayhope graphene wall covering was applied to the interiors, and the completed space was measured on site by an independent tester on 29 October 2018.
Formaldehyde came in at 0.07 mg/m³ against the GB/T 18883-2002 limit of 0.10 mg/m³ — recorded as a pass, with the air rated Grade 2 (good). Conditions at the time were 24 °C, 31% relative humidity and PM2.5 of 75 µg/m³.
Education
Schools and universities are among the most demanding environments for indoor air quality, with young occupants spending long hours in enclosed classrooms and dormitories. Two campuses have specified Rayhope graphene wall covering.
Xinlian College of Henan Normal University
河南师范大学新联学院 — Rayhope graphene wall covering was installed across campus interiors to give students and teaching staff a safer living and study environment.
Peking University Academy, Luoyang
Dormitory model rooms coated and independently tested over five days, taking formaldehyde from 0.99 to 0.10 mg/m³. Full reports are shown above.
State-Owned Enterprise
CNNC Intelligent Technology Innovation Base
China National Nuclear Corporation's intelligent technology innovation base — a central state-owned enterprise facility with correspondingly rigorous material approval requirements.
Government
Henan Provincial Government
Graphene wall covering specified for provincial government offices.
Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government
Applied across municipal government offices, alongside a separate installation at the Zhengzhou Committee of the CPPCC.
Healthcare and Care Facilities
Boao Yiling Life Care Center, Hainan
Part of the Boao Lecheng medical pilot zone. Rayhope materials were also supplied to Boao Super Hospital on the same campus.
Arts and Culture
Art spaces present an unusual brief: the finish has to be visually refined as well as functional. Our wall covering has been used both as a wall finish and as a medium for artwork in its own right.
Anhui Yuwanqing Culture & Art Centre
Graphene wall covering applied throughout, including artwork executed directly in the material.
Jiashuli Art Centre
Interior finish for a contemporary art and events space.
Residential and Commercial Developments
Shimao Champagne Lake Villas, Changzhou
Premium villa development finished with Rayhope graphene wall covering.
Puluo Ideal Country
Villa development specifying low-emission interior finishes throughout.
Yaxin Jasmine Mansion
Residential development in Zhengzhou, coated by Rayhope's own installation team.

Installation
Rayhope coatings are applied by trained installation teams. Application is straightforward — comparable to conventional decorating — and the material is low-odour and water-based, so spaces can be returned to use quickly.

Field-Tested Under Extreme Flood Conditions
In July 2021, Henan Province experienced a record-breaking rainstorm and severe flooding.
A Rayhope graphene heating film system, installed in 2019 at the Rayhope Applied Technology Research Institute, was fully submerged for approximately one week during the disaster.
After the floodwaters receded, the system resumed normal operation without any damage, demonstrating outstanding durability and operational stability under extreme environmental conditions.
This real-world event provides strong evidence of the system's resilience, reliability and long-term performance as an advanced heating solution.
Each installation below uses Rayhope's graphene heating film, delivering soft, even far-infrared warmth with more than 99% electrothermal conversion efficiency. Figures are drawn from Rayhope's completed-project records.

Efficient Underfloor Heating Structure
For floor installations, a six-layer build delivers uniform, efficient warmth (top to bottom):
- Floor finish layer — the visible flooring surface
- Mortar backfill layer — levels and stores heat
- Protective mesh layer — shields the heating film
- Graphene heating film — the far-infrared heat source
- Insulation layer (XPS board) — directs heat upward
- Base layer — the structural sub-floor
