Television coverage of a visit to Rayhope by Nobel laureate in Physics Professor Konstantin Novoselov — co-discoverer of graphene, professor at the University of Manchester and Fellow of the Royal Society — following the International Symposium on the Carbon Materials Industry, held in Henan's Central Plains under the theme "Bringing Together Global Strengths for a Shared Future in Materials."
The symposium was convened by Henan Rayhope Technology Group, the leading graphene enterprise in the Central Plains, together with the Changyuan Municipal People's Government and research institutions including the Beijing Association for Advanced Carbon Industry Promotion, the Beijing Institute of Graphene Technology, the Chongqing 2D Materials Institute (C2DMI) and the Huzhou Wuxing Heyuan Metal & New Materials Institute. It brought Professor Novoselov together with six academicians and experts from European graphene R&D teams and more than ten leading Chinese researchers to discuss the future of graphite- and graphene-based advanced materials.
At Rayhope's invitation, Professor Novoselov toured the Rayhope Graphite & Graphene Science and Technology Museum and the company's smart factory, guided by Chairman Zhang Weixing and Chinese Academy of Sciences researcher Sun Qijun. He examined raw graphite ore from Rayhope's Xixia mining area, reviewed the full graphite-and-graphene industrial chain, and discussed the company's Zebra formaldehyde-removing wall coating and far-infrared floor-heating technologies. He praised Rayhope as a rare example of a fully integrated enterprise — spanning graphite mining, processing and graphene production — remarking that the museum was exactly what he had hoped to see, and expressing strong confidence in the company's prospects.
